Renee Seaman Treml

Inspired by wildlife while living in North Carolina, (USA), and volunteering at the Piedmont Wildlife Center Hospital, Renee Seaman Treml's paintings highlight the subtle details of nature with delicacy and humor.

Many Faces Of A Kookaburra 1, mixed media, acrylic
Renee creates her collage, mixed media paintings by using handmade paper along with pages from retired books for her backgrounds. She applies the paint directly on top, allowing hints of the background to show through the paint.

For her scratchboard illustrations, Renee paints ink on smooth clayboard and scratches away the ink, revealing the white background.
